The most environmental friendliest Public Toilet in Sibu.

There are a lot of nice, nice toilets or public toilets in Kuala Lumpur or in holiday resorts or theme parks around the world and really fortunate that a place like Sibu do had two beautiful public toilets sited in our very own lake Garden and I am very sure that only a handful people knew about this toilet. I took this opportunity to use this toilet and sure that I could be one of few user of this toilet.

This toilet facilities consist of two block building and with shower facilities as well as for the less fortunate ones (disabled). One block for the males and another for the ladies. These toilets are very well ventilated and lighted (natural openings) during the day time which could be observed in the following photos. Can't really described the uniqueness of these toilets in words. Visit them and you will get the feelings!

Asked our Municipal Architect Mr. Abu and I was told that these toilets were built some time in 2004 and was designed by quite a renowned architect in malaysia. He told me that pebbles found collected in big concrete container in the urinal areas, bath/shower room and toilet's cubicles were for planting of small trees. Wow, toilets in the forest !!! Forgot to ask our Municipal Architect Mr. Abu what's the Showers for??? Can we take a swim in the lake and take the shower? well, definitely swimming or fishing is prohibited.

To me as a layman, the two toilets' building roof is just like a big giant leaf covering the building. I'm sure the QRAM member Ar. Hassan will agreed with me.

How to go there? Normally driving will take a few minutes to half an hour from Sibu Town to Sibu Lake Garden at Permai commercial areas. Then you reached the main entrance and parked your vehicle and you take a few minutes walk through the sibu lake garden park.
