Sibu Toilet Council (STC) also known as "Majlis Tandas Sibu" was officially formed on Monday, 12th September 2005. This council (STC) is the adhoc committee to the Standing Committee of the Public Health & Municipal Services Committee of the Sibu Municipal Council, Sibu.
OrganizationSibu Toilet Council (STC) is an informal and Simple Organization consisting of one Chairperson (also as the co-ordinator) supported by the Secretariats (group of officers from the Management & the Council Staff) and the Non-governmental Organisation (Local Associations from the Tea & Coffee Shop & Hawker Association/Youth Organizations & Clubs/Cleaning Contractors/Experts).
VisionTo lead the Nation in Washroom Hygiene.
MissionPromoting a healthier Sibu by advocating the Standard and Hygiene of Sibu's Toilets
Objectives
- To raise awareness on the issues related to the ABC (Architecture, Behaviors and Cleanliness Maintenance ) of toilets.
- To educate the Sibu populance on the proper toilet etiquettes with the focus on the School Students.
- To assist the toilet operators/owners on the toilet maintenance.
